Gardening- Phase 1

This year I decided to plant a veggie garden.  Things are so expensive at the store, and we have the room... so, why not??  The only problem is our clay soil is terrible.  I'm not sure if all our hard work is in vain, or not.  Let's hope for the latter.

This is the "garden" before tilling, watering, and planting.

I know she looks dry and not fruitful, but give it time.  I hope she produces SOMETHING.

I started small since I have never done a garden before.  I planted tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, and banana peppers.  We also have a strawberry plant.  :)

  4. I hope your garden does well for you. You must have a large yard. I have thought about doing a raised garden bed. Maybe next year.

  6. Tracy~ I wanted to do a raised garden bed, but didn't have time... or the "hubby" resources this summer. I might do that next year.

Rose~ Let me know how your garden does. I hope I get a little something to pick.
