Homeschooling Times

Homeschooling is well under way and we are having a blast.
Liam worked on patterns with his foam shapes.
And, of course he always has to accessorize with his camo hat.

He also built towers with matching colors.  He really is a great tower builder.
Maybe he'll build buildings someday like his daddy.

We worked on a ten commandment activity this week.  We read each commandment as we colored and pasted them onto paper.  They hang in our kitchen as a friendly reminder.

I know that there will be bumps along this homeschooling path, but I pray that I am reminded that God called us to do this and he will see us through this.  I want my kids to love being home with me and to love learning.
I see this as a great opportunity and don't want to ever feel like I'm taking away the "public school" experience from my children.

  1. I agree:) Keep it up! Great Blog-
    Found you from the WLWLU

  2. Beautiful Children! Blog Well Done! Adding you to my follow list from Raising Homemakers Link-Up!

  3. Good for you! Homeschooling is such a blessing. There are different seasons of it and blessings in each one! I love seeing your little ones do their "little kid" school. I need to focus more on that with my little ones. I've got 4 that are doing big-kid book work now and, while that's great and we have a lot of wonderful discussion, I do miss doing the little stuff with the little ones! Looks like your Liam is about the same age as mine. Mine is 2 and a half.

    Have a lovely day!
