Did you know that through practice and commitment, you can turn yourself into a morning person? It’s true. You might see yourself as a night owl, but by practicing the habits of an early riser, you can reset your internal clock. Maybe you like burning the midnight oil. I have to admit, I prefer that at times, too. But most of the time, I prefer getting up early and starting my day before the kiddos climb out of bed.
Give Yourself Time + Nothing makes me want to stay in bed more than knowing I have to rush around to get myself ready. Give yourself time. Wake early enough that you can enjoy and savor your morning. Part of this means getting enough sleep to wake feeling rested. Another easy tip is to know what you want to wear and how you want to fix your hair before you hit the pillow at night. Having these things planned out will help the morning to seem more peaceful and enjoyable.
