Healthy General Tso’s Chicken is a lovely dish including baked breaded chicken bites, combined with a tangy, sweet, yet spicy sauce mixture, all served over rice.

Step: 1

Gather your simple ingredients: diced chicken breast, buttermilk, panko breadcrumbs, and flour.

Step: 2

Dredge your chicken in the flour until completely coated.

Step: 3

Dip in cold buttermilk. Buttermilk adds flavor and is thicker, so try to use buttermilk instead of another milk.

Step: 4

Coat generously with panko breadcrumbs. Use regular panko instead of seasoned panko.

Step: 5

Lay on a wire rack that is on a baking sheet. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

Step: 6
