Simple traditions are what we look forward to every year because they bring with them memories. Today, I’m sharing a simple salt dough ornament garland tutorial that you can make this Christmas and every Christmas to come.

You will love salt dough ornament garlands because they are simple and your kids will love making them.

What you'll need

– 1 cup all purpose flour – ¼ cup table salt – ½ cup water – 20 drop essential oils - Twine

Step: 1

Make your dough and chill it.

Step: 2

Roll it out on a floured surface and cut your ornaments out.

Step: 3

Bake your ornaments at 200°F for an hour.

TIP

Use a skewer to poke a hole in the top of your ornaments BEFORE baking. This will allow you to thread the twine through.

If you would rather not bake your ornaments, but instead let them air dry, you can make no bake salt dough ornaments. Depending on the conditions within your home, it make take anywhere from 3 to 7 days to fully dry your ornaments.
