There is so much that is wrapped up in Christmas. It’s not just the Christmas decor that makes it feel festive, but it’s also the smells of Christmas. Today, I’m going to share how to make this simple Christmas simmer pot in less than 5 minutes.

Why You'll Love this

You know that Christmas smells special. The mix of citrus and spice bring a warmth and freshness to the air. Think, cinnamon, clove, orange, and cranberry.

What you'll need

Cloves Cinnamon Sticks Apples Oranges Cranberries Rosemary

Step: 1

Slice your apples  and oranges.

Step: 2

Fill a pot with water and put it on your stove.

Step: 3

Add your simmer pot ingredients to your pot of water.

TIP

Make sure to keep an eye on your pot of water so it doesn't go dry. If it gets low, just add another cup, or two, of water.

Give as a Gift: The best way to gift a simmer pot is by filling a food grade gift bag or box (you can get these at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s) with everything they will need to make their own simmer pot.
