Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade

  • 4 5 ounce boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Creamy Sauce

  • ½ cup salsa
  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt, or sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning

Instructions
 

Chicken

  • Pound your chicken breasts to ½ inch thickness if they are thick or slice them in half so you have two thin chicken breasts.
  • Combine all of your marinade ingredients in a large ziplock bag and mix them well.
  • Add your chicken to the bag, seal, and shake it around to coat the chicken.
  • Marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the chicken on the hot grill and grill for 5-6 minutes per side or until no longer pink and chicken reaches 165°F.
  • While chicken is resting, place buttered buns on the grill and toast the buns.

Creamy Sauce

  • Add all of your creamy sauce ingredients to a blender and pulse until it is smooth.
  • Serve a dollop of the sauce on each sandwich along with toppings.
