Ingredients
  

Crumble

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

Strawberry Filling

  • 2 pounds sliced strawberries, about 6 cups
  • tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x9 (2 quart) baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the strawberry filling. Pour them into your prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl add the oats, flour, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add in your cold butter and cut it in using your fingers, fork, or pastry cutter until the bits are pea sized.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture on top of the strawberry filling and bake for 45 minutes or until the filling is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  • Cool on a cooling rack and serve with ice cream.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
