- 1¼ cup warm milk
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1½ teaspoon active dry yeast
Make the Dough
Warm the milk in a small saucepan on low heat.
Add the milk to a stand mixer with a dough hook. Add in the sugar and yeast and allow the yeast to get awake and foamy for 5 minutes.
Add in the flour and salt and mix until the dough is elastic and the bowl is clean.
Cover and let the dough rise for 2 hours or until doubled.
Bake the Bread
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
Form the dough into a loaf and add it to the loaf pan. Brush the top with melted butter.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let the loaf cool completely on a wire rack.
