Croffles are a delightful way to take a traditional breakfast dish and elevate it into something new. Savory croffles top a delicious pastry with all of the savory fixings, like eggs, salami, cheese, and more!

Equipment

  • 1 waffle iron
  • 1 skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry
  • 12 slices hard salami
  • 12 large eggs, fried
  • 12 slices romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat your waffle iron until hot.
  • Roll up the puff pastry starting at the wide end of the triangle and roll it to the short end. 
  • Spray your waffle Iron with non-stick spray.
  • Cook 1 to 2 croissants at a time, depending upon the size of your waffle Iron.
  • Assemble your croffles by layering lettuce, salami, fried egg, and topping it all with cheese. Repeat with all of the croffles.
