Dill Pickle Dip Recipe

Liz Quick
When I have a vegetable spread that needs something with a little punch, I like to serve this dill pickle dip recipe, which is the perfect blend of creamy and briny, yet with the unmistakable flavor of dill that most people love.

Equipment

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 electric mixer

Ingredients

  • 8 oz plain greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • ¼ cup dill pickle juice

Instructions

  • In a bowl of an electric mixer, whisk the greek yogurt, cream cheese, diced dill pickles, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and dill weed.
  • Slowly add the dill pickle juice, mixing it well before adding more. Be sure to test as you add in the juice. You might not need it all depending upon your taste preferences.
  • Serve with chips, crackers, or pretzels.

Notes

  • Mix all the ingredients in a separate bowl. Then add them to a serving dish for a beautiful presentation.
  • If you like your dip to have a lot of texture, chop your pickles into larger pieces and mix the ingredients by hand, rather than in a stand mixer.
  • You can also make this dip in several batches and add a different flavor profile to each. Instead of adding dill pickles you could add cucumbers and make more of a tzatziki. You could also add roasted garlic to give a really warm flavor to this recipe.
  • The longer this dip sits, the better the flavor. I like to make this recipe ahead of time, not only to save time, but to allow the ingredients to sit and infuse together.
