– ½ cup active sourdough starter – 1 cup warm water – ½ cup coconut oil – ½ cup white or brown sugar – 4 cups all purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ½ teaspoon baking soda – ½ teaspoon salt
Make the dough: The night before, make the dough and do a bulk ferment.
Finish the dough: The next morning, finish kneading the dough
Roll out the dough: Roll the dough out on a floured surface.
Fill rolls, roll up, slice: Fill them with cinnamon sugar filling, roll up and slice 1 inch thick.
Cover and allow it to rise in a warm place for an hour.
Bake the Cinnamon Rolls: Bake until golden brown and top with icing.
Split the dough in half and roll each half to be a rectangle about 30 x 10 inches.
