Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan well with butter.
In a large bowl, add your flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla, egg, and oil. Stir well until combined.
In a small bowl, combine ½ cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Stir.
In a greased loaf pan, pour ½ of the batter. Sprinkle ½ of the cinnamon sugar on top.
Repeat with the rest of the batter and cinnamon-sugar.
Bake, uncovered, for 45-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle.
Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
Make your glaze and pour over the bread. Enjoy!
