- 1 trifle bowl
- 1 Cutting board
- 1 Knife
Ingredients
- 2 10 ounce packages Sara Lee Pound Cake, freezer section
- 2 pints chopped strawberries
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup, optional
Instructions
- Dice your pound cake into 1 inch cubes.
- Wash and slice your strawberries to your desired size.
- In a mixing bowl, add your heavy cream and maple syrup.
- Take your hand mixer and beat your heavy cream on high speed until soft peaks form.
- In your trifle dish, layer your ingredients. Begin with 1/2 of your pound cake. Then, add 1/2 of your whipped cream, followed by 1/2 of your strawberries.
- Add another layer of your pound cake (the other 1/2 of your pound cake). Layer the other 1/2 of your whipped cream and the remaining strawberries.
- Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
