Favorite Things Friday
I remember back in the day when I used to blog, long before Instagram, and everyone would share products, posts, recipes, or home decor they loved… just for the fun of it. Today, I’m sharing a few things I’m loving lately!
This week, I’m sharing recipes we are looking forward to, some blogs that I turn to for encouragement/inspiration, and some clothes I’m tempted to try.
There’s also a Christmas item that I’m sharing because it’s time to start thinking about decking the halls. Or, maybe it’s just us thinking about that. lol
I hope you enjoy my favorites this week!
Clothing I’m Tempted to Try
You know how you scroll through your social media and, somehow, an ad pops up that actually entices you?
Then, the social media must realize that you paused on that ad for a few seconds too long because it will keep making it appear every time the app is opened?
Well, this has happened to me and this time it is with Baltic Born clothing. The dresses look so adorable and, as I said in my Fall Capsule post, I am wanting to add more to my wardrobe.
I’m a wee bit worried that they won’t fit well and then I’ll have to mail them back, which seems to be a weakness of mine. 🙈
Favorite Christmas Tree
Let me tell you about this Christmas tree. I’m picky, y’all. We have had artificial trees and in the last 5 years we have had only real trees.
I bought a fake tree last year and it was terrible. I tried to send it back, but the company wouldn’t take it back, so I got stuck with it.
After Christmas was over, I saw the PERFECTLY imperfect tree online and it was on sale. I bought it, unboxed it when it arrived to make sure it was what I wanted, and squealed with excitement.
If you are looking for a tree that looks real- not super full, tall, or perfect, than this tree is for you! I am beyond anxious to unbox it again and put it up for the season.
Blog I Love to Visit
I enjoy reading about all things domestic, but I really love learning from someone who has a deep passion for the home.
Sarah has been someone that I’ve followed for a long time- both online and on instagram.
She is one that you will enjoy hearing from, so go peek at her site. Her photos are beautiful and you can tell she loves making her house a wonderful place to be.
Great Homeschooling Resource
If you are needing some homeschool inspiration and encouragement, This Little Home of Mine blog is one of my go-tos.
You can get all kinds of resources, wise counsel, opinions on curriculum, homeschooling advice, and more.
I also love the free resource page that has tons of free printables for both you and your kiddos.
I LOVE those dresses!! There’s an emerald green velvet midi that’s literally screaming my name. My only issue is how do you wear dresses when it’s cold out? I’m always freezing and tights are the worst!
