- Ham– Ham and eggs go great together! Just make sure the meat is already cooked.
- Cheddar Cheese– I like to use cheddar because it melts so beautifully, but you can substitute with any cheese you like.
- Onion– I love the sweet flavor this adds to the dish.
- Eggs– This is an essential ingredient for any quiche.
- Heavy Cream– This helps to thicken the egg mixture.
- Italian Seasoning– The herbs used in this seasoning mix are the perfect compliment to the ham and eggs.
- Garlic Powder– I like to use garlic powder instead of fresh garlic to add a more subtle flavor.
- Black Pepper– Adding black pepper adds the perfect amount of spice without being overly spicy.

Tips for Making Mini Quiche
- Sautéing any vegetables before adding them to the egg mixture will help ensure that they are soft and perfectly cooked.
- You can use any type of cheese you like for this recipe. Just use cheeses that melt easily.
- Using a 2 or 3 inch round cookie cutter or a biscuit cutter will make sure that your pie crust will fit in the muffin tins. Fill each muffin tin with one circle of pie dough, making sure to firmly press them against the sides of the tin. Poke the dough a few times in each muffin tin to keep the pie crust from puffing up during the baking process.
- To get a perfectly brown crust you can turn on the broiler and add a little bit more cheese to the top of each quiche. Broil for 2-3 minutes or until the top is browned and bubbly.
- Spray each tin with cooking spray to avoid the quiche from sticking to the pan, or line the muffin tin with paper liners to make the quiches even more portable.
- You can experiment in different ways with different ingredients each time you make them.
Add-Ins for Mini Quiche
- Fresh Parsley– This herb adds an earthy herbal taste to the quiche.
- Broccoli– This vegetable is full of nutrients and other health benefits. It also adds beautiful color to the dish.
- Bell Peppers– Colorful, delicious, and slightly crunchy peppers add an extra touch to your quiche.
- Green Onions– These onions have a milder taste than other types of onions.
- Asparagus– Roast it first and then cut it into small pieces so that it is small and tender.
- Green Beans– Sauté the beans first and then cut them into small pieces for tenderness.
How Do You Store Leftover Mini Quiche?
This is the perfect recipe to make a double batch and to make ahead of time.
The flavors become even better when they have had a chance to absorb over night.
Store each quiche in a zip lock bag and keep in the freezer for several months.
You can store the mini quiches in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days in the refrigerator.
I would recommend storing them in containers rather than with saran wrap to ensure that you keep as much moisture out of the quiche as possible.
How Do You Reheat Leftover Mini Quiche?
You can reheat the quiche in a preheated 300 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until warmed through.
If you want to thaw them in the microwave, use a wet paper towel to wrap around the mini quiche bites and heat for 30 seconds at a time until warm.
For frozen quiche, you will want to use a toaster oven or oven method in order to warm the quiche evenly.
