- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons quick rise yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, optionsal
Instructions
- To make the dough, start by mixing together your dry ingredients in a large bowl. Then, add your water and mix until everything is well combined. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Coat in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and cover in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
- Pour 2 tablespoons of oil on a 9 x 13 cookie sheet and dump your dough on the sheet. Cover the dough in oil and allow it to rise for 4 hours in a warm place.I like to put mine in our microwave with the light on so it's nice and warm.
- Once it's had its second rise, press it out into a rectangular shape as you use your fingers to press dimples into the surface of the dough.
