How to Store Leftovers

Once you’ve made your French dip sliders, you may have some leftovers that you’d like to save for later.

  • To keep them fresh, store them in an airtight container in the fridge. This will help prevent any moisture from getting in and making the bread soggy.
  • If you have leftover beef, you can store it separately from the bread and au jus. Wrap it tightly in aluminum foil and store it in the fridge. This will help prevent it from drying out.

How to Reheat your Sliders

  • When you’re ready to reheat your French dip sliders, preheat your oven to 350°F. Wrap the sliders in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through.
  • Alternatively, you can reheat them in the microwave. Place the sliders on a microwave-safe plate and cover them with a damp paper towel. Microwave on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until heated through.

Variations for French Dip Sliders

If you’re looking to switch things up with your French Dip sliders, there are plenty of variations you can try. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Cheese: Add some cheese to your sliders for an extra burst of flavor. Swiss, provolone, and cheddar are all great options.
  • Meat: While roast beef is the classic choice for French Dip sliders, you can also try using other types of meat, such as turkey or ham.
  • Bread: Instead of using slider buns, try using croissants or ciabatta rolls for a different texture and flavor.
  • Sauce: Experiment with different dipping sauces for your sliders. Horseradish sauce, garlic aioli, and honey mustard are all tasty options.
  • Toppings: Don’t be afraid to get creative with your toppings. Caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, and roasted red peppers are all delicious additions.

Tips for Making These Sliders

Making French dip sliders is a fun and easy way to impress your guests at your next party or gathering. Here are some tips to help you make the best sliders possible:

  • Choose the right bread: For the best sliders, use soft, fluffy slider buns or Hawaiian rolls. These will hold up well to the juices from the meat and the au jus sauce.
  • Use quality beef: Use thinly sliced roast beef for the sliders. It is important to use high-quality beef for the best flavor and texture.
  • Add cheese: For added flavor, add a slice of provolone cheese to each slider.
  • Toast the buns: Toasting the buns adds an extra layer of flavor and texture. Brush the buns with melted butter and toast them in the oven or on a griddle.
  • Make the au jus sauce: The au jus sauce is what makes these sliders so delicious. Use beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic to make a flavorful sauce that pairs perfectly with the beef.
  • Serve with a side of au jus: Serve the sliders with a side of au jus sauce for dipping. This will add even more flavor to the already delicious sliders.
  • Customize to your taste: Feel free to add your own twist to these sliders. Add caramelized onions, horseradish sauce, or any other toppings that you enjoy.
