Favorite Things Friday 7
I remember back in the day when I used to blog, long before Instagram, and everyone would share products, posts, recipes, or home decor they loved… just for the fun of it. Today, I’m going to share my favorite things from the past week.
Favorite Decor Book
I love thumbing through decor books.
They are pricey, but I often ask for them for birthdays and Christmases.
I recently bought a new one and I love it so much.
As I fluff my home, I’ve found that what I see online doesn’t quite hit the mark for what I’m going for.
I’m trying to stick with a classic old world design that won’t quickly fall out of vogue. This book is perfect and I am enjoying reading every page.
If I could recommend one book to help gets some ideas flowing, this would be the one. It’s my new favorite.
Favorite Summer Gadget
A few summers ago I went to a friend’s house and she was making ice cream in the niftiest ice cream maker.
It was small and so simple to use… much easier than my old ice cream maker that needed salt and ice and made a lot of racket.
We have used our for several summers and it is a simple treat for me to whip up for my family.
It also stores away easily, which is a big plus because I don’t like having a lot of gadgets in my kitchen.
Favorite Wreath
Wreaths can be an investment item because they run so high.
This one is simple and elegant and on SALE!
The price point is perfect and the whimsical, yet classic look to it is stunning.
I plan to have this on my front door for spring and summer.
It is so lovely that I might even decide to keep it inside once it arrives.
Favorite Recipe
I saw this recipe and knew my family would love it.
I used to make one very similar, but I’m going to give this one a try.
Anything pizza related is a hit in this house, so I’m sure they will devour each bite.
If you are looking for a simple pizza crust recipe, this perfect pizza crust is the one I’ve been making for years.
And, if you want a great pasta that is simple and delish… try my Italian meat sauce with a pasta of your choice.
Favorite Garden Tool
We have bunnies around our home. Lots of bunnies!
Last year, I battled them like crazy as my roses and small blooms were growing.
They ate my tulips and so many tender blossoms, so this year I asked for something to help keep them at bay.
So far, they are working so well and I wanted to share in case you have the same issue.
Favorite Pots
These pots are darling- classic and feminine.
I think they would look so nice sitting on a patio table or even on a stoop.
I image some lavender in them.
